I haven't sewn a button in many years. the buttoneer fasteners seem to hold up better than thread.

This it a quality replacement for the original Buttoneer. Appears to be made of stronger stuff. Arrived promptly and even with shipping cost was of good value!

Very Useful
It works well once you get the knack of using it. The key is to make sure the fastener is seated properly, the needles are all the way through the fabric, and the fabric is pulled taut against the device. When everything is in position, I check the fastener again and give the fastener ends a little tug to make sure it's still seated as the fastener can become dislodged when you push the needles through.

It's good
It's a little hard to insert the fasteners into the needles's channels and you have to hold tightly the fabric to keep them and the buttons in place. Beyond that, it's a good product because it makes the work a little faster.
