1. had to fashion my own inlet hose out of 5/16 ice maker line
2. on the first try pump worked but after extracting first 3 quarts of oil I shut it down to switch over to another container, but after restarting it the pump lost its prime and failed to pump again no matter what I did.
I will attempt to re-prime this puppy one more time time before I take it apart and rebuild it from scratch.
